Raining animals

Raining animals is a relatively common meteorological phenomenon, with occurrences reported from many countries throughout history. The animals most likely to drop from the sky in a rainfall are fish and frogs, with birds coming third. Sometimes the animals survive the fall, especially fish, suggesting a small time gap between the extraction and the actual drop. Several witnesses of raining frogs describe the animals as startled, though healthy, and exhibiting relatively normal behavior shortly after the event. In some incidents, however, the animals are frozen to death or even completely enclosed in blocks of ice. These occurrences may be evidence for the transport of the victims to high altitudes, where the temperature is below zero, and they show how powerful meteorological forces can be. The potential violence of this phenomenon is shown by examples where the product of the rain is not intact animals, but shredded body pieces.

Clinic

A clinic or outpatient clinic is a small medical facility that provides health care for ambulatory patients - as opposed to inpatients treated in a hospital. Most clinics are run by one or more general practitioners but there are clinics operated by private corporations, government organizations or hospitals. The function of clinics will differ from place to place - for instance, a local general practice run by a single general practitioner will provide primary health care and will usually be run as a for-profit business by the owner whereas a government specialist clinic may provide subsidized specialized health care.

Some clinics function as a place for people with injuries or illnesses to come and be seen by medical professionals. In these clinics, the injury or illness is not serious enough to warrant a visit to an emergency room. Treatment at these clinics is often much less expensive than it would be at an emergency room. Also, unlike an emergency room these clinics are often not open on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. These clinics often have access to diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, especially if the clinic is part of a larger facility. Doctors at such clinics can often refer patients to specialists if the need arises.

Atlanta International Airport

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, known as Atlanta Airport, is mostly located in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, USA and was the world's busiest airport in 2005. But, according to the FAA, Chicago's O'Hare International Airport is on track to take the title back for 2006. Recent flight facility increases of 40% promise to propel Hartsfield's future growth.

Hartsfield accommodated 980,197 takeoffs and landings in 2005, and handled 88.4 million passengers according to projections. Many of these flights are domestic flights from within the United States where Atlanta serves as a chief transfer point for flights to and from smaller cities throughout the Southern United States. As such, it is the subject of an old comic story stating that regardless of where one is going in the afterlife, s/he will have to connect in Atlanta to get there. Hartsfield-Jackson also has fifty-seven percent of their passengers flying elsewhere. As an international gateway to the United States Hartsfield-Jackson position is seventh; JFK International in New York City is first.

The airport is located partly inside the southern city limits of Atlanta and is adjacent to the city of College Park, Georgia, which is south of the city limits of Atlanta. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the prime hub of Delta Air Lines, Air Tran Airways and Atlantic Southeast Airlines. The airport is situated in Fulton and Clayton Counties.

Essentials of healthy life-cleanliness a brief review

Health is wealth so preserve it. Life is short so use it in the right way. Cleanliness merely fits with the apt meaning of being free from dirt, dust, germs and bad smells. A recent shift has now taken place to recognise that 'germs' may play a major role in our immune systems. So experts say washing hands frequently, specially when in an environment of many people with infections and diseases. Washing is one of the best way to achieve cleanliness.Have a brief overlook on the following issue to be aware of how to keep one self clean.
A step way process regarding cleanliness of hands is given below:
• Use warm water
• But avoid scorching your hands.
• Use anti-bacterial soap or hand wash.
• Wash between fingers and use paper towels to wipe off.
Washing of hands has to be followed
• Before eating
• After eating
• After using the toilet
• After playing outdoor games
• After attending to a sick person
• After blowing nose, coughing, or sneezing; and after handling pets.
The proverb "Cleanliness is next to Godliness," a common phrase that describes humanity's high opinion of being clean. Purposes of cleanliness include health, beauty and to avoid the spreading of germs .If your hands have any kind of skin cut or infection, wash hands with an anti bacterial soap. Thoroughly wash with hot, soapy water all surfaces that come in contact with raw meat, poultry, fish, and eggs before moving on to the next step in food preparation. Consider using paper towels to clean kitchen surfaces.
Keep pets, household cleaners, and other chemicals away from food and surfaces used for food. Along with removing any old food or dirty water, it's a very good practice to clean the bowls or containers that the food and water are in, ever Hygienic practices—such as frequent hand washing or the use of boiled (and thus sterilized) water have a profound impact on reducing the spread of disease. This is because they kill or remove disease-causing microbes (germs) in the immediate surroundings. For instance, washing one's hands after using the toilet and before handling food reduces the chance of spreading E. coli bacteria and Hepatitis A, both of which are spread from fecal contamination of food.-healthy
